The pressure differential module (PDM) is intended for use with the SAFEHOUSE habitat system, where the differential pressure between the inside and outside of the enclosure needs to be monitored. It is essential that an over-pressure is maintained within the habitat enclosure to prevent ingress of any air from the surroundings which may contain gas hazards. If the pressure inside the habitat drops below an acceptable level, the alarm will be activated and hot work activities will be shutdown.
